Summary

In this thought-provoking novella, Bo, the mentally ill brother of Julie, has a life-changing experience that puts him into crisis. His brother-in-law Dan, who is Julie's ex-husband and Jane, the young woman with whom Dan is now living, are drawn into the unexpected maelstrom that results. The short stories are about eight women, each at a different stage of her life: from the challenges of adolescence through the losses of old age.
