Summary
A bulb planter creates small, neat, uniform holes consistently at the correct depth. This is so that plant shoots don’t have to grow too far to see daylight and to keep tall plants from flopping over. Digging with this tool is easier and neater than using a trowel. Lawn turf, mulched beds and nearby plants are less disrupted by the precise removal of a core of soil. The coring system also means you can easily replace the soil in the same layers in which it was removed
