Summary
"Great men were gods, if beggars couldn't kill 'em!" exclaims Vindici, the (anti)hero of Revengers Tragedy. This modern dress Jacobean tragedy is set in a post-apocalyptic Britain, where southern England lies underwater, and center of power is Liverpool--ruled by media magnate The Duke. Ten years after his wife was murdered on their wedding day, exiled Vindici returns, to exact his revenge against the Duke--her killer--and his son and heir, Lussurioso, who lusts after Vindici's innocent sister, Castiza. Vindici re-unites with his estranged family, ingratiates himself with Lussurioso, and brings down The Duke and his entire corrupt political dynasty
