Summary
The original purpose of this adventure was to walk every step of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, as there seemed no better way to document the life of a thru-hiker than by being thru-hikers. The thru-hiking family helped in accurately capturing the essence of the thru-hiker lifestyle, as people from all walks of life with the same goal converge annually on the trail. The film documents what it really takes to stay motivated, to spend 10 hours a day hiking, and gives an accurate picture of day-to-day thru-hiker life on the Appalachian Trail
